Born in Inglewood, California and currently residing in Los Angeles, independent artist, Dolcceee, uses the LA culture to inspire her music. Dolcceee was born Tierra Moultrie, but her stage name comes from the world-renowned brand, Dolce & Gabbana. Not only is she a rapper, but a singer, lyricist, actress, comedian, and mother to a beautiful baby boy.
She wants to tell her stories through the eyes of Dolcceee, and uses her son and late mother as motivation to take her music career to the next level. Dolcceee hopes to inspire mothers with her music, as it is challenging to raise a family while juggling a career in Los Angeles. As a powerful woman herself, Dolcceee is empowered by powerhouse women such as Nicki Minaj, Missy Elliot, and Gwen Stefani.
Dolcceee says that although there are many artists in Los Angeles trying to make it big in the music industry, you have to trust the process and stay consistent. She started off singing in the church’s choir as a child, moved on to rapping around the age of 18, and now has a whole team working to further her career.
Dolcceee’s first single ever was released today, Friday, May 15th! You can expect hip-hop vibes inspired by her own individual experiences and struggles. Stream it on Apple Music, Spotify, Soundcloud, and Youtube!
Don’t sleep on Dolcceee, PERIOD.
