Imagine combining artists like A Boogie, Justin Bieber, and 2 Pac into one person. Well, imagine no longer because that person exists. Aysir Clark is a 17-year-old music artist from Philadelphia looking to follow and walk in the same footsteps as those exact elite artists that he takes ingenuity from for his music. Although he doesn’t go by Aysir Clark. After constantly wearing clothing from ‘Bathing Ape’, Aysir’s friends started to call him “Bape”, which inspired his stage name “Lil Bape”.

At 15, Bape started diving into music with his family but didn’t take it seriously until he walked into the studio and cut together his first track. Now in Atlanta, Lil Bape is on a journey to become the next big thing in the hip-hop & pop music world. Performing for over a year now, he’s been expanding his audience across the board. Currently, Lil Bape has over 100k views on his single “Never Thought” on Youtube and has received attention from personalities like DJ Diamond Kutz. He also has collaborated with Yxng Ka on a record that gained over 300k streams on AudioMack.

Lil Bape draws motivation from his friends and family. His bond with his father gives him purpose to succeed, and his personal experiences growing up drives him to have a substantial impact on young kids by letting them know there is more to life than the streets. Through hard work and perseverance, Bape is set to release his new project ‘Zipped up in My Tears’ on October 29th, 2021. You can check this out on all streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and Soundcloud. Make sure to also check out his Youtube Channel and follow him on all social media, which will be linked down below.

“I want the audience to know that I’m not just an artist. I come from the hood, but I’m not a rapper because I also make pop music. I go against what people expect from me, my age group, and my people. I am Lil Bape.”
