When you ask Nassau, Bahamas product Rello Ranzano where he draws inspiration from in his music he gets straight to the point. His musical inspiration comes from his experiences in life, music provides Rello an outlet to vent and speak what’s on his mind, he can truly be himself and not care what others think of him. Rello describes himself as a very versatile artist who can do a little bit of everything and do it his way in his style. Some of the genres Rello has in his arsenal include pop, afro beats, hip hop, and drill melodic, in his own words, Rello describes his music as very wavy.
Rello began to fully commit and pursue a career in the music industry during COVID lockdown when he realized that the world stopped and he had yet to fully pursue his dreams. In a sense, the pandemic set his priorities straight and made him realize what his dream really was. To date Rello has released five songs to date, with his favorite being “Should Have Freestyle”, this song is most important to Rello as he remembers the raw emotions he felt while making this song.
Rello is currently working on releasing new singles and doing his summer rollout, more specifically, his single “Anything For This Money”. Similar to all his other work Rello poured his emotions into this song, the inspiration behind it coming from the realization that he had fallen in love with a prostitute and wanted to be with her. When she turned him down Rello went back and wrote this song which showcases the emotions he was feeling at the time. Though he has not had the smoothest road getting to this point in his life, Rello has made it clear that he is here to stay. He urges others to be themselves and to be original, and he wants everyone to know that it is going to be a wavy year.
